MADNESS OVER CONCERT TICKETS

Just one announcement was needed to bring madness in many countries in Europe. SM Town Live Tour on june 9th in Le Zenith, Paris. 6000 tickets for the first and concert SM Entertaintment would do in Europe. Taking in account it´s the first time a south korean record label was going to do a concert in Europe fans all over the world went crazy with happiness. SM Entertainment, one of the most influencial recold label currently existing only fueled the desires of the fans for tickets by announcing that five of their actuals ten groups would be performing: SHINee, Super Junior, DBSK, Girls´ Generation and F(x).

4 different types of tickets available depending on the zone: Prestige - sitting/numbered 111.50€, VIP - sitting/numbered 89.50€, Cat 1 - sitting/numbered 67.50€ and Pit - standing/not numbered 51€ . 3ooo tickets would be sold on internet on fnac.com, livenation.fr and ticketnet.fr, while the rest in shops. Starting at 10 am on abril 26th.

That day fans all over the Europe woke up early, turned on their computers and waited for the clock to strike 10 am. One minute after 10 am officially started the madness. Pages collapsed, after just one minute  notices appeared: The tickets for this event are temporarly unavailable or The ticket you selected is unavailable. The web pages went crazy. One one try you could find 2 or 3 types of tickets available, but when you selected any kind of ticket you got one of the 2 answers: Ticket unavailable or Due to  traffic you need to wait 2 minutes and then we´ll redirect you which meant that you were back on the home page with no entrance.

Days later Super Junior page announced that they were amazed with the sales, Prestige and V.I.P. tickets sold in 4 minutes and the rest in the next 10 minutes. Which means good for them and bad for the enormous number of fans that couldn´t get a ticket after hours of trying, crying and prayings. There were some very lucky fans who managed to get a single ticket after trying without stoping for hours.

Dissapointment could be found all over Europe. Fans decided to meet and to  manifestation about this situation. They asked for a second date.

Kpop at First View

Annyeong!!!

I´m kinda sick now so my brain it´s not working very well, so I´ll write a short entry as in this moment I think my head it´s going to explode  T.T  .In this moment I´m sleepy, I´m cold and I can´t stop sneezing, my head hurts,my back hurts and I´m sleepy. I know I said sleepy 2 times but I´m very very sleepy. And I know I´m whining but I´s sick so I´m allowed to whine.

I´m going to start before I fall asleep. This entry is about something I discoverd while watching some of my favorite Super Junior music videos. The FANSERVICE.

If you look for the word in wikipedia you get this definition : In Japanese manga and anime, Fan service (ファンサービス fan sābisu?), fanservice, or service cut (サービスカット sābisu katto?), is material that is designed to amuse or excite the audience with especially derived content – giving the fans "exactly what they want"– and usually refers to "gratuitous titillation".

But here we´re talking about music, not about manga and anime, and also, even if fanservice existe in the jpop or jrock, here we´re talking about kpop fanservice. And also, even if there´s fanservice from girl groups to males there´s also fanservice from male groups to females.

I´m a girl so of course, I´ll be talking about the boy groups fanservice.^¬^

Nowadays there´s less fanservice than before, but hey, at least there is some. Every boy group does fanservice, normally little things like holding hands, hugs, sitting on or lying against another person,Caressing (petting)[ gently stroking body parts or hair with a hand]or giving cheek kisses. And it isnt´t needed more than that. Fans are happy with that.

It may be looking weird to Europeans or Americans but the physical contact between boys is better viewed in South Korea or Japan than other countries. Actually,it´s promoted. This has actuall has a name. In South Korea it´s called skinship, which is a blend derived from "skin", plus the last syllable of "friendship".

You can normally see this skinship when watching group members taking care of the youngest member ( magknae in korean). In every group there is always a leader which normally is the oldest or more experienced and the magknae, which like I said before is the youngest. Beside those normally there´s the lead vocal, the rapper (where in some groups there are two), the lead dancer etc..

For example in one of my favourite groups SHINee there´s: Onew (Lee Jinki)- the leader and backing vocalist, Jonghyun (Kim Jonghyun)- main vocal, Key (Kim Kibum)- rapper and backing vocalist, Minho (Choi Minho)- rapper and backing vocalist and Taemin (Lee Taemin)- magknae, main dancer and backing vocalist.

Of course, in any kpop group all the member sing and dance. It may not seem hard but to become member of a group normally they have to go to casting and win it, being the best of thousands of persons. After that they are trainees for years. And if they get to be in a group they have to word on the choreos, songs, recordings, concerts, besides the drama they normally participate, the variety shows, the record label concerts and tours (for example SM TOWN for SM Entertainment, YG Familie for YG Entertainment etc..). All of those beside normal school classes.
It´s true that normally  they do to music, art or drama in university but you can even find them even in IT carrers.

Truth is that it may seem that they are a bit exploited by their record companies, but they don´t care because they know that without the hard work they wouldn´t have been able to achieve their dreams.

Annyeonghaseyo!!!

       Annyeonghaseyo!!!

Finally is time to write something in this blog. As you can see, this blog ´s link is  teardrops-in-the-rain.blogspot.com and the name I chose to it is Obsession. The first one  is because one of my  favorite songs from the korean band CN Blue is  called Teardrops in the rain  and the second as now I´m into my Kpop years so I´s kinda obsessed with the korean music and the korean doramas.

I´ve got lots of favorite groups and bands like SHINee, Super Junior (Super Junior M), Big Bang (G-Dragon), MBLAQ, 2AM, 2PM, SNSD, B.E.G., 2NE1, U-KISS, T-ARA, Miss A, F.T. Island, CN Blue etc..

I know I should have started with presenting myself but hey, there´s no time as now

My name is Alexandra but my friends call me Alec (I like it much better than Alexandra *too long* ). My birthday is on june 6th so I´m almost 19 years old ^^. I´m for Rumania, but I´ve been living in Benicàssim for almost 6 years.

I´m very very melomaniac so I´m almost all the time listening to music; yep, even when I go to sleep. I sleep so well with music (a tip, if you can´t sleep put on Debussy´s Claire de Lune and you´re out in a minute^^). I´m also pretty obsessed with make up, so I´m IN LOVE with asian cosmetic but that´s for other post ^^

I like to dance, to read (any kind of books but lately I´m into fanfictions), I like to watch movies, and sleeping. I LOVE sleeping, for now my record is 15 hours ^^. I hate sports,(watching or doing)  and I´m very good at doing nothing.

I can get distracted easily but I´m quick to understand things. I´m a very weird kind of person as many times my personality 180 spin so I can go from being a quiet and introvertive to very extrovertive. And no, I don´t have a bipolar disorder. I know what I want and I´m pretty realistic and also I´m always very optimistic. I´m also a little tiny bit manipulative (I know it´s a bad thing but I had to have something bad no?). I also have a pretty high self esteem.

So, that´s all for now ^^ See you soon
